Education Our projects in Kayes, Mali have different methods to spread knowledge and education. 
First of all, we have organized a primary school, currently about 100 children attend this school.Each employee is officially registered, so their children can go to school for free. At the same time, the participating farmers receive training in agriculture with an emphasis on poultry breeding. These trainings are organized in cooperation with the local NGO. The local NGO A.L.D., with its president Tingalla Couma, teaches the participants the necessary skills such as mathematics, economics and hygiene. This is part of the project and ensures that the inhabitants of Kayes can build up their independence. The farmers play a double role in education. The farmers form an important link between producers and private services (health care, banks,...) and integration in the market. The fourth pillar is that the project serves as a technological and economic example and in addition there is the possibility of replication in other locations. We would like to expand our education centre. Enabling more children but also young adults a future through education and training of different professions. |
